Pi Day

March 13, 2010 also known as Pi Day, unfortunately is not a federal holiday. However, the government's mistakes have never stopped me from acknowledging the truth - that Pi Day should be embraced and enjoyed. Therefore, I googled a pie recipe which ingredients were already residing in my cabinets and pulled out the bowls and whisks. And this was what happened:

A really large cookie pie - but really it's a cookie baked in a pie pan.

It's served best with vanilla ice cream.
