Under Construction

As you can see, I'm attempting to revamp my blog skin (to no avail). However, during this interim as I figure out how to use my amazing new Mac Book Pro laptop that my beautiful mother got me, I will be on a slight leave of absence. I am sad to say that this week, my workout schedule has been shot. I've been busy shooting video for my first package and will be dedicating a lot of time to editing it this weekend so my next blog will probably be on it. I'm also attempting to create a website, work on a thesis, figure out my summer plans, and finish school up. Therefore, my few followers, bear with me as I try and be in five different places at once.

I also feel odd commenting on my own posts, so in response to Ley who commented on the last post:

I am usually much like yourself when it comes to resolutions. I never follow them, and this week has proven my point exactly. However, exercising and staying healthy are extremely important so I will attempt to go running later today - partly because I need to be healthy and partly because broadcast journalism is a very visual business (much like Hollywood). It's always going to be easier to get a job if you are attractive. Sad but true. I hope my skills as a journalist will outshine my physical appearance, but it can't hurt to play as many cards as possible, especially when interviewing for that first job!
