Snowed-In

I've lived in the South all my life. I've never experienced snow and I've never been snowed-in, but 2010 is the year for new things. My parent's were almost down a daughter this morning. I got into my car as the silly little Southern girl whose never driven in snow before to drive to work. Needless to say, I never made it. My apartment complex is weirdly placed within one of the richest neighborhoods of Knoxville, which I normally love, but it also means I drive through a regular subdivision instead of being conveniently located near the main road as most apartment complexes are usually. The salt dispensers of the city didn't make it out to my streets until later into the day, so I celebrated a snow day on my couch with my kitty and Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's".
While I played Old Maid, my neighbor's children were playing in the snow.

If you follow the white-snow road, to my house, you'll go.
