My 2010 Skirt

What does one do on a snow day? Well, if you're raised a Greer-girl, you sew a skirt. Skirts are the easiest thing to sew, which makes it the perfect clothing item to sew for a girl who enjoys instant gratification. This skirt has three panels in the front and back and sewed together to form a bell shape.
I paired the skirt with flat brown boots, a practical choice for the snow-laden streets I would have to trek at my legal runner job. The Anthropologie-esque sweater was a steal I picked up at TJMax several years ago. I love it because I'll often forget I have it until I'm scratching my head for a top to go with something, and my hand pulls it out of the mayhem called my wardrobe.
These boots were from Target, awesome deal for flat boots!

Oooh...lovely skirt! I really like the boots, too. I'm a big fan of no heels. In Japan, I see tons of cute boots all over for great prices. But, alas, my big feet won't fit into any of them! Even in the big cities, I can't find any boots in my size. *sigh*

I always enjoy seeing your sewing projects. Thanks for sharing!
